Chincoteague’s downtown is filled with history, delicious restaurants, art & gift shops, amusements, and the memorable picture in the giant LOVE chairs.

There is plenty of great food in the Chincoteague area. One of our go-to spots is Ropewalk with happy hours, seafood, burgers, and of course, crab cakes!
Chincoteague Island National Wildlife Refuge
Chincoteague is a natural wonder of Virginia’s Eastern Shore, most notable for the wild ponies that roam along the shore. You can spend the day exploring the Assateague Lighthouse or relaxing at one of many public beaches.
